About this Virtual Instrument

Deep Pool is a drum loop and sample virtual instrument designed to imbue low tempo music with mood, detail and rhythmic warmth.

Focused on a range of 60 to 84 BPM, Deep Pool weaves real world and electronic sounds to elevate the emotion and artfulness of any downtempo music.

With an eye towards flexibility, producers can customize the sound with real-time playable effects, deconstruct full mixes down to individual parts or samples, and use any loop at a large range of tempos (without any artificial stretching or artifacts).

With twenty suites of richly textured drums and a simple-to-use feature set, Deep Pool is helpful to anyone in search of distinctive percussive sounds.

SONG SUITES: Twenty

SONG PARTS: Each suite has a dozen unique parts: Intro, Intro Fill, Verse 1, Verse Fill, Verse 2, Chorus 1, Chorus 1 Fill, Chorus 2, Chorus 2 Fill, Bridge, Bridge Fill & Ending.

MIX VARIATIONS: Mix & Stem variations include: Full, Minimal, Low, Mid, Mid (No Snare) & Top.

Some Suites include additional Mix Stem variations: Mid (Minimal) & Top (Minimal).

INDIVIDUAL LOOPS: 1794. Individual instrument loops are available for all song parts (e.g., HiHat from the Intro, Snare from Chorus 1, Ride from the Bridge).

SAMPLE CONTENT

SONG SUITE SAMPLES: 1069. Each suite has a menu of One Shot samples featuring nearly every sound used within its song parts.

Generally, multiple variations of each sound within a suite are available (e.g., Snare 1, Snare 2, Snare 3).

OTHER SAMPLES: 146. Additional recordings & sound designed material is on hand to provide utility and to enhance the song suites. These categories include: Motion, Cymbals, Pitch Moods & Reverses.

PLAYABILITY: The interface allows 24 One Shot samples to be loaded and played at a given time.

Users can change samples as desired.

REQUIREMENTS

SOFTWARE: Deep Pool runs in Kontakt or the free Kontakt Player 7.10 or higher (requires a minimum of Windows 7 or Mac OS 12). Natively supports Apple Silicon/M1+.
